Remembering Our Veterans

The Branxton Greta Memorial Cycleway will be a unique, community asset dedicated to the over 300 members of our communities who enlisted in WW1, serving as a living memorial to the young men and woman from our, our region's and our countries communities, who have served in times of war and peacekeeping.

BRANXTON GRETA MEMORIAL CYCLEWAY

Dedicated to those brave lads who enlisted in WW1 from the Branxton & Greta townships, The Branxton Greta Memorial Cycleway is a unique, community-driven project connecting these two, historically significant, central Hunter townships, by cycleway, and living war memorial.
We hope that this unique memorial will serve as a reminder to all its visitors and users that we must always remember, acknowledge and be thankful to all of those men and women who have selflessly and bravely served our country in times of war and peacekeeping.
